Sunday April 27, 2008 Psalms 121:1 & 2 “Just keep looking up” We are the church that is called by His name. We have all been in situations that we had no hope. But as Jesus’ apostolic people, we keep looking up. As we are watching for the coming of the Lord, we see where our blessings are coming from. If you want to be distracted, look around. If you want to be delivered, look up. If God can create this world in six days, He can see us through whatever comes against us. If you are in need of a financial blessing, look up to the one that owns it all. You can’t see the beauty of the day by looking down. Matthew 14:24 Be careful little eyes what you see. Be careful little ears, what you hear. Peter became frightened and began to sink. When he put his trust in Jesus he was saved. Don’t watch the wind. Pay no attention to the adversity and keep your eyes on the master. Don’t let the pain of being hurt by others cause you to lose your joy. Have victory in Jesus. Keep your faith and trust Him. Only He can be trusted. A chip on your shoulder can bog you down. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper. There is no problem that is too big for God. Whatever we are going through with Jesus, we are going through with Jesus.
